Service Details

This service includes a basic declaration of the recycling quota. When declaring the data for the current year, if the minimum recycling quota is exceeded, the seller shall pay the excess amount.

WEEE stands for Waste Electricaland Electronic Equipment, which means discarded electronic and electrical equipment. To improve the management environment of discarded electronic and electrical equipment, promote economic circulation, enhance resource efficiency, and process and recycle electronic products at the end of their life cycle, the European Union promulgated the first WEEE Directive (Directive 2002/96/EC) in 2002. Sellers are required to process and recycle the waste electronic and electrical products they sell. In 2014, the French Environmental Code converted the EU's WEEE Directive into its own law, clearly stipulating the recycling requirements for electronic and electrical equipment sold in France.
Article R543-177 of the French Environmental Law stipulates that any manufacturer, importer or distributor must affix a crossed trash can label on all electronic and electrical equipment, batteries or accumulators placed on the market.
