French toys EPR

Starting from January 1, 2022, France's Anti-Waste Circular Economy Law (AGEC) will include toys in the "Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) principle. That is, all natural or legal persons who manufacture, import or introduce toys to the French market have the responsibility to collect and dispose of the waste generated when the relevant products are scrapped, i.e., register the French Toy EPR.

What is EPR?
法国 EPR法规(AGEC):自2022年起，将受管制产品投放市场的生产商需遵守该法规。The French market must adhere to the "extended producer responsibility" system.
What is UIN?
UIN(唯一识别号码)是您在法国电子处方系统中的官方身份标识。
This means that you have completed registration with the correct French professional institution.
You need to set up a UIN for each product category (e.g. packaging, batteries, waste electrical and electronic equipment).
It is used for reporting and complies with French EPR rules.

·Who does "producer" refer to in the EPR project in France?
Including:
Manufacturer-the company that produces the product.

Importers-companies that introduce goods from outside France to France.
Dealers/ Online sellers-if they sell under their own label or repackage their products.
